1. Gun Milan: The 36-Point System
This is the famous Ashta Koota matching method based on the Moon's Nakshatra. The system scans 8 factors (Kootas) and assigns them points:
Varna (1 pt): Ego and work-style compatibility.
Vasya (2 pts): Mutual attraction and dominance.
Tara (3 pts): Destiny, health, and longevity.
Yoni (4 pts): Nature, nurture, and biological compatibility.
Maitri (5 pts): Intellectual friendship and sign-lord harmony.
Gana (6 pts): Temperament (Deva, Manushya, or Rakshasa).
Bhakoot (7 pts): Emotional bonding and financial growth (sign distance).
Nadi (8 pts): Health and genetic compatibility (Vata, Pitta, Kapha).
Passing Score: A score above 18/36 is generally considered good for marriage.
Dosha Exceptions: The system automatically flags "Nadi Dosha" or "Bhakoot Dosha" but also considers their "Cancellations" based on planetary friendship.
2. Manglik Dosha (Mars Compatibility)
Mars (Mangal) in specific houses can cause friction. The platform performs a deep audit of:
Mars Placement: Checking the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th houses.
Compatibility Level: It ranks the match as Supportive (if both are Manglik or both are not), Neutral, or Unfavorable.
3. Planetary Details Tab (Advanced Auditing)
This tab is for practitioners who need to look beyond the scores and perform a manual deep-dive into chart dynamics:
Multi-Chart Comparison: Select and compare multiple divisional charts (Lagna, Navamsa, D10, etc.) for both partners side-by-side.
Revolve Selector: Independently "revolve" either partner's chart by a specific House or Planet. This is critical for seeing how one partner’s planets fall into the other’s houses (Partner Syncing).
Planetary Degrees Table: A comprehensive table comparing the sign, degree, nakshatra, and charan of all 9 planets for both individuals side-by-side.
Dasha Path Syncing: View the current Vimshottari Dasha status for both partners to see if their time periods are in harmony for marriage or business ventures.
CASS & House Coordinates: Professional-grade tables for checking the structural strength of both birth charts side-by-side.
4. Panchang Compatibility Tab
Matches aren't just about planets; they are also about the Five Pillars of Time:
The Five Pillars: A side-by-side comparison of Tithi, Vara, Nakshatra, Yoga, and Karana.
Paya Analysis: View the Paya (Gold, Silver, Copper, or Iron) for both partners. This ancient metric indicates the overall fortune and health stability at birth.
Birthday Timeline: An analysis of the lunar and solar calendars (Tithi and Month) for both individuals.
Tithi & Koota Sync: Specialized cards checking for structural harmony in the lunar day and other timing-based factors.
5. How to Generate a Match
Select Members: Choose the Boy and Girl from your client directory.
Ayanamsa Settings: Use the Header Container to set your preferred calculation method (e.g., Lahiri).
Click Analysis: The system generates the full score, Manglik status, and side-by-side comparison.
Explore Tabs: Switch between Gun Milan, Planetary Details, and Panchang for a total 360-degree audit.
Save/Shortlist: Save the record to the client’s profile for your final report.
IMPORTANT
Total Points aren't Everything: A high score (e.g., 28/36) can still be unfavorable if there is a severe Nadi Dosha without cancellation. Always check the Planetary Details tab to see the actual strength of the 7th house (Marriage) in both charts.
